FOR PROVISION OF EXTERNAL AUDIT SERVICES
Background
information:
Foundation for Local Capacity in Agricultural Development
(FLCAD) is a member- based organization, non- profit making, non-governmental
Organization, founded in 2014 and registered in October 2015 under the Act
number 24, section 12(2) by the ministry of Health, Community Development,
Gender, Elders and children with registration number 00NGO/08231.

vision statement: - A wealthy and healthy community.
FLCAD
Mission: - To build the capacities of special groups of people in the community
so that they can be able to participate in different development activities and
ultimately live a better life.
FLCAD Objectives:-
i.
To
promote social, economic and cultural sustainable development within the
society through economic empowerment, sustainable agriculture, and good
governance.
ii.
To
ensure environmental conservation through appropriate environmental
conservation means.
iii.
To
ensure the availability of legal rights and properties ownership among the
vulnerable people such as women (widow) children (orphans) and Grand Parents
through human rights advocacy.
iv.
To
develop and implement programs that give assistance to children particularly
Most Vulnerable Children (MVCs) and other poverty traumatized families with
basic support.
v.
To
ensure the survival of FLCAD through different strategies for its
sustainability in order to achieve the rest of its objective.
FLCAD is implementing one project in partnership with Vi
Agroforestry: - a Swedish development Organization fighting poverty and climate
change, through agroforestry and strengthen of farmers organization to empower
smallholder farmers family to reduce poverty, deforestation, huger and
contribute to increase biodiversity.
Our work is based on five thematic areas namely: Agriculture
and environmental management, Entrepreneurship, Advocacy, Children and youth
empowerment and Gender, HIV/ AIDS Mainstreaming.
Through partnerships of FLCAD and Vi Agroforestry
implementing program called ALIVE (Agroforestry for Livelihood Empowerment).
FLCAD
hereby invites EXPRESSION OF INTEREST for provision of External Audit Services
(Statutory Audit) from in country qualified, experienced, eligible and
registered Audit firms (by National Board of Accountants and Auditors) for
FLCAD programmer/project financial statements for the year ending 31st
December, 2021. Applying firms should have relevant experience in auditing
financial statements for donor grant.
Interested audit firms must submit their company profiles
clearly showing qualified staff with their experience. List of audit
engagements performed in the last five years, and evidence of authorization
from National Board of Accountants and Auditors.
